The Two Year Alternative Licensure Program (2YALP)

is operated by the Pikes Peak Board of Cooperative Educational Services (PPBOCES) and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Online and Academic Outreach.  This alternative licensure program allows one to earn a salary while teaching in the classroom while attending classes to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to complete the program and concurrently earn a Colorado Initial Teacher License.
