The Two Year Alternative Licensure Program (2YALP) is operated by the Pikes Peak Board of Cooperative Educational Services (PPBOCES) and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Campus Wide Extended Studies. This alternative licensure program allows one to earn a salary while teaching in the classroom. Participants develop the knowledge and skills necessary to complete the program and concurrently earn a Colorado Initial Teacher License.

The Two Year Alternative Licensure Program accepts applications year round. Joining our program in August or in January requires submission of our program application (found under the Resources section) and a Statement of Eligibility from the Colorado Department of Education. Our offices are located at Pikes Peak BOCES, 2883 South Circle Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80906, second floor, room 231. The entrance to the administration is located on the southwest corner of the school property.
