2	Decide on the curriculum area in which you would like to receive your license. Each area requires 30 credit hours in your content area to apply to TIRP. Click on the links to view.	Admission #3 (Content Areas) Application #2 (TIRP Application and Job Information) Fees
3	Schedule and Take the PLACE or PRAXIS II test.	PLACE and PRAXIS II Tests
4	Mail application packet to our office to include: 3 dated letters of references, resume, and answers to the questions on the second page of the application. Your Transcripts may be mailed to us from your College separately if you do not have originals but you must order them. Your PLACE or PRAXIS II score may be faxed separately when you receive your test score. You may send in your application/back-up paperwork and it will be processed when your test score and transcripts are received in our office. WE DO NOT ACCEPT FAXED TRANSCRIPTS
5	TIRP Staff reviews your application and an evaluation is completed. You will be notified of the results when your evaluation is complete.
6	If you are qualified to enter the program you will receive a Letter of Eligibility from our office. You will use the Letter of Eligibility to apply for teaching positions.	Admission (# 2)
7	TIRP staff publishes and sends periodic candidate availability listing to local districts, charter schools, and private schools with your name, content area and phone # to assist you if you are an eligible candidate.	Admission (# 2)
When you sign a contract for a position as a teacher you are considered to be in the program and will be in the next TIRP class.		Resident Teachers
