Science

The following requirements must be met to be eligible to enter the TIR program in the content area of Science.

Requirement One: 24 semester hours

OR

Requirement Two: Passing of the PLACE test #05 or the PRAXIS II test # 10435

A maximum of 6 credits MAY be approved for Life Experience

Both requirements; however, must be completed prior to the program completion in two years.  

Biology (6sh) May include lab experience

Chemistry (6sh) General, organic, inorganic, analytical and physical chemistry

Physics (3sh)

Earth-Space/Environmental Science (6sh)
Examples: Astronomy, Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography, Mineralogy

Mathematics (3sh)
