Beginning with the 2005-2006 school year, the Praxis Elementary Education test will no longer be accepted for Colorado licensing candidates seeking the Early Childhood Education endorsement.

The PLACE Early Childhood Education test is the only State Board of Education-approved content assessment for ECE candidates, measuring the content knowledge expected of Colorado ECE teachers, as determined by licensed Colorado ECE practitioners.

PLACE Assessment #02 must be passed.

* This license enables one to teach in grades K-2
