The following requirements must be met to be eligible to enter the TIR program in the content area of Drama.

Requirement One: 24 semester hours (6 credits MAY be approved for Life Experience)

OR

Requirement Two: Passing of the PLACE test #30

Both requirements; however, must be completed prior to the program completion in two years.

• Theatre History (3sh)

Areas: Theater & or Drama

• Dramatic Literature (3sh)

Examples: Analysis and Criticism, Dramatic Styles, Reflection

• Acting (6 sh)

Examples:  Basic acting, Stage Movement

• Dramatic Performance/Dance (3sh)

Examples: Choreography, Physical, Role Playing

• Technical Theatre (3sh)

Examples: Make-up, Lighting, Stagecraft Costumes, Publicity

• Directing (6 sh)

Examples: Audience Analysis, Directing Styles
