SECONDARY BUSINESS/MARKETING
The following requirements must be met to be eligible to enter the TIR program in the content area of Business/Marketing Education.
Requirement One: 24 semester hours (A maximum of 6sh MAY be approved for Life Experience)
OR
Requirement Two: Passing of the PLACE test #34 in Business and the Marketing PLACE test #35
Both requirements; however, must be completed prior to the program completion in two years.
A minimum of 3sh of coursework is required in each of the areas listed below.
- Economics (Macro or Micro)
- Information Technology
- Business Law
- Accounting or Finance
- Principles of Marketing
- Salesmanship
- Advertising
- International Marketing
- Consumer Behavior
- Business /Marketing Communication
- Business/Marketing Ethics
- Human Resource Management
