The following requirements must be met to be eligible to enter the TIR program in the content area of Art Education.
Requirement One: 24 semester hours (A maximum of 6sh MAY be approved for Life Experience)
OR
Requirement Two: Passing of the PLACE test #28
Both requirements; however, must be completed prior to the program completion in two years.
Areas: Drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, fibers, jewelry, crafts, visual arts
Areas: Contemporary and past cultures & artists
Areas: Art appreciation
