Documented evidence (from transcripts) of 24 credits of college level coursework from a regionally accredited college or university in each of the areas listed below

Art concentration (15 credits)
drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics,
photography, printmaking, fibers, jewelry, crafts, visual arts
Art History (6 credits)
contemporary and past cultures, & artists
Evaluation & Critique of Art (3 credits)
art appreciation
Life Experience may not be substituted for credits

OR

Passing score on the Art K-12 Place Test # 28

If using credits (only) to qualify you must have a minimum GPA of 2.6

NOTE: DISTRICTS REQUIRE THAT CANDIDATES PASS THE PLACE TEST PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
